Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Oak brook, IL
Dates: August 30, 2023 - June 10, 2024
Hours per Week: 35
Caseload: Supporting students in general and special education. Aproximately 200 students. 

Responsibilities of the RN may include, but are not limited to
Providing nursing care and support to students with special needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Assisting medically fragile students with their daily care, such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing any medical equipment.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students.
Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' healthcare needs and goals.
Supporting students in the 'life skills' program, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their social skills, independence, and overall development.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records.
Adhering to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional guidelines in the provision of healthcare services.
