Soliant is working with a K-5 school in the Bay Area--San Carlos, CA--and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this school year.
This position is full-time. More details will be discussed during an interview with program administrators. Clinical fellows are welcome to apply as well!
As an SLP, applicants will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present goals to student parents as well as school staff during IEP meetings.
- Consult with parents and school staff on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
We seek candidates with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication
- Solid organization
- Up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
- Professionalism and accountability
Requirements:
- California SLP license OR
- Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
