San Carlos, CA: Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is working with a K-5 school in the Bay Area--San Carlos, CA--and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this school year.

This position is full-time. More details will be discussed during an interview with program administrators. Clinical fellows are welcome to apply as well!

As an SLP, applicants will:

• Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized education plans and present goals to student parents as well as school staff during IEP meetings.
• Consult with parents and school staff on speech and language concerns.
• Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
• Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
• Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

• Excellent communication
• Solid organization
• Up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
• Professionalism and accountability

Requirements:

• California SLP license OR
• Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
