Key Responsibilities

• Therapy Implementation: Assist in executing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Direct Services: Provide hands-on therapy to help students improve their daily living skills and occupational performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
• Professional Growth: Participate in team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Certification: Must be a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with valid Illinois state licensure.
• Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
