School-Based Occupational Therapist (Lawndale, CA)

Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district in Lawndale, CA. The OT will provide therapy services to students, helping them develop the skills needed for daily activities and promoting independence. This role involves working directly with students, creating personalized therapy plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy services based on IEPs.
• Assess students’ motor, sensory, and physical abilities.
• Develop and implement therapy plans to support student goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create supportive learning environments.
• Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid California state licensure and NBCOT certification.
• Prior school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
