School-Based Occupational Therapy - Hiring Entry Level OTs or COTAs! - Near Vestavia Hills, AL

Job Description:
Soliant Health is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based position near Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Whether you're an entry-level OT or a seasoned COTA, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create strategies that support student progress.
• Conduct evaluations, document progress, and maintain accurate and timely records.
• Address a variety of needs, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapists (OT): Entry-level welcome! Must hold a valid OT license in the state of Alabama.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA): Minimum 1 year of experience preferred. Must hold a valid COTA license in the state of Alabama.

Schedule:

• Full-time position for the remainder of the current school year.
• Monday through Friday, following the school district calendar.

Compensation:
We offer competitive pay rates based on your experience level.

• Occupational Therapist (OT): Minimum $40/hour, with higher pay available depending on experience.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Minimum $33/hour, with higher pay available depending on experience.
