We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team near Montecito, California. This is a full-time position based in a school setting, where you will work with students of varying ages and disabilities to improve their physical abilities and enhance their overall well-being. As a school-based physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their maximum potential by providing assessment, intervention, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of assistive devices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement appropriate goals and interventions.
- Monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
- Prior experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions.
