School Based Psychologist

Position: School Psychologist

Location: Denver, CO

We are currently seeking a School Psychologist to join a school district in Denver, CO for the 2023/2024 school year. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, families, and staff to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children, knowledge of special education laws and regulations, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for interventions and services
• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other members of the school team
• Develop and implement prevention and intervention programs
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings
• Keep accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Active Psychologist license in Colorado
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
