Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Chicago, IL and surrounding areas

Soliant Education Services, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Chicago, IL, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
  • Provide counseling, guidance, and support to students dealing with academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate students' progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff regarding behavior management strategies, learning disabilities, and other relevant topics.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and intervention plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of current educational practices, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
