Position Overview:

As a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with students on a one-to-one basis, implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and promoting skill development. You will collaborate with our experienced team of special education professionals, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and teachers to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities in a school setting.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and record data on student progress during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure consistent support and communication.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Reliable and punctual.
