Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' unique needs and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in academic and social settings
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of students' individualized education plans
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and interventions in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology in Indiana
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
