School-based SLP, Salisbury NC

Calling on SLPs (Clinical fellows too!) seeking work in the area of Salisbury, NC! Soliant has partnered with a school in the area to place a full-time contractor for the school year.

We seek applicants with the following core competencies:

• Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
• Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
• Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
• Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting

Applicants will most likely be assigned a caseload of middle and high school students. Interviews will be arranged after an initial phone screening by Soliant reps.

Education and license requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• North Carolina license in Speech-Language Pathology (Soliant can provide guidance in the process)
