Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work within a school setting, providing essential speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
