Our New Jersey school district is seeking qualified candidates for multiple Speech-Language Pathologist positions for the upcoming school year. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) and Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
Location: New Jersey
Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to address individual students’ needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that speech and language goals are integrated into the students’ overall educational plans
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of student progress and communicating this information to parents and other stakeholders
- Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active New Jersey state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for New Jersey licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for SLP-CCC position
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP-CFY position
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
