Job Description:
A vibrant and student-focused school district in Florence, AZ is looking for a talented and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential services that help students build confidence, communication skills, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ development.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure success.
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development to advocate for students’ needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Arizona SLP license and ASHA CCCs (preferred).
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
