Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs to address communication challenges and support educational objectives.
  • Deliver direct therapy services targeting various aspects of speech and language development, including articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into the academic curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, progress notes, and intervention outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Hold state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
