Job Description:
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oxford, MI, where you’ll work in a supportive and collaborative school setting dedicated to helping students achieve their communication goals. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while working in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success.
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of evaluations, progress, and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred but not required for CFs.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
