About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Taylorsville, NC. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders. Your goal will be to help students enhance their communication skills, improve academic performance, and achieve success in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and evaluations.
  • Offer training and support to parents and staff to enhance communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active North Carolina SLP License.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially through speech therapy.
