About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Wilmette, IL. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive educational environment, providing speech and language therapy to students in need of communication services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote effective communication strategies and student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality therapy in an educational setting.
