Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Wilton, CA. The SLP will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their academic and social potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, in accordance with the treatment plan.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Provide education and support to parents and teachers on strategies to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in California.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
