Job Description: Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Whittman, AZ for the 2024-2025 school year. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students, helping them to overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success. This is a full-time position for the entire school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication development across all settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Arizona.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
