Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students to support their academic, personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and address the needs of students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies and action plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations on various topics such as career planning, college readiness, and mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Counselor.
  • Previous experience working as a School Counselor or in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, educational systems, and student development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and data management.
