School Counselor, Full-time

We are working with a school district to staff a School Counselor for the school year. The counselor will assist with providing comprehensive support to students. The position calls for a dynamic educator who is passionate about advocacy. 

Education and License Required:

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling or related field
• School Service Personnel Certificate K-12 (formerly Type 73 Certification) 

Job Duties:

• Advise students on academic, emotional, and social concerns
• Provide 1:1 and small group counseling 
• Consult with parents, teachers, administration and staff 
• Provide support to students struggling with social-emotional and behavioral concerns through the MTSS framework
