Our company is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to join our team in Blue Island, IL. This full-time position will focus on providing mental health and emotional support services to students in grades K-5 for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in grades K-5
• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs
• Implement evidence-based strategies to promote positive mental health and well-being
• Advocate for students' mental health needs and facilitate referrals to external resources, when necessary

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
• Valid Illinois license as a School Counselor
• Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Counseling
• Experience working with elementary school students
• Strong knowledge of mental health issues and counseling techniques for children
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
