Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate School Counselors to fill four full-time positions in Fairfax, Virginia. If you are passionate about supporting the emotional and academic well-being of elementary school students and thrive in a school environment, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

• Number of Openings: 4
• Grade Level: Elementary School

Caseloads:

• Position 1: Approximately 115 students
• Positions 2 & 3: Combined caseload of approximately 260 students
• Position 4: Approximately 298 students

Work Schedule:

• Hours per Week: 37.5
• Hours per Day: 7.5

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for student success.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students in need of support.
• Implement prevention and intervention programs to address various issues, including bullying, conflict resolution, and academic achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive school climate that promotes student well-being.

Requirements:

• Valid Virginia School Counselor Certification.
• Previous experience in a school counseling role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Passion for helping students succeed academically and emotionally.
