School LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) Crosby, TX

Position: School LSSP

Location: Crosby, TX

Schedule: Four eight-hour days per week, except for holidays, days off, weather days, and early releases as indicated on the school calendar during the school year.

Hours: 7:30-4:00 (30-minute lunch, unpaid)

Work Environment: In-person

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and re-evaluations of students
• Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Write comprehensive assessment reports within designated timelines
• Provide counseling services based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' academic and socio-emotional needs
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to address student challenges
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, counseling sessions, and progress notes

Requirements:

• LSSP certification/license in the state of Texas
• Experience conducting assessments and writing reports in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education regulations and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
