School Nurse - LPN - Seattle, WA

Soliant is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse on behalf of a Washington State school district near Seattle.
As a contract LPN you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to a medically fragile student in a school setting. You will work closely with the student, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the student's physical wellbeing.
Details:

• Monday through Friday
• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m (Including accompanying student during transportation to and from school)
• Student is attending Head Start Program and finding a nurse is a top priority at this time
• Begins next school year (August 2023)

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the student's physician
• Monitor the student's vital signs and health status
• G-tube care and feeding, respiratory care provided during the school day
• Provide care while traveling with the student to and from school
• Develop and implement healthcare plans in collaboration with the student's physician and school staff
• Communicate regularly with the student's family, healthcare team, and school staff

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in Washington state (LVN also acceptable)
• Prior experience with suctioning, G-tube care, nebulizer
