We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in San Jose, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a school-based setting and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.


  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals, in collaboration with IEP teams and other professionals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' participation in classroom activities and promote independence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, including progress reports, treatment notes, and other required paperwork.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required.


  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting.
  • Knowledge of best practices in pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration and motor development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
