School Occupational Therapist Position - near Brookline, MA

Occupational Therapist - PreK-5th Grade, Massachusetts

We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Massachusetts. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to provide occupational therapy services to children in a PreK-5th grade school setting.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and assess student needs, abilities, and level of functioning in order to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs for children to help them reach their goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care skills, visual perceptual skills, and other areas of occupational therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
- Participate in professional development activities as needed

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy theories, principles, and practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with children in a school setting
- Dedication to helping children reach their goals
