Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate OT to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in New Caney, Texas. Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs) and state regulations.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities and develop appropriate therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective support for students.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and functional independence.
• Monitor progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate with parents/guardians and the educational team regarding students' performance.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Valid license/certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or pediatric setting.
• Knowledge of special education regulations and procedures.
• Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
