School Physical Therapist (PT) Contract Job Summer Part Time

In collaboration with the Olympia School District, we are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Physical Therapist to join our team in Olympia, Washington. This part-time summer opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of a seasonal position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students in the school setting, focusing on students' individual needs from various grade levels.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve students' mobility, strength, coordination, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the education team to ensure seamless integration of therapy goals into the students' academic curriculum.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of students' progress.

Requirements:

• Valid Washington state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience working with students in an educational or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and fellow team members.
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs to address a diverse range of student needs.
• Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and documentation.
