As a School Psychologist at you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological and emotional well-being of our students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess and address students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning.
- Providing individual and group counseling to students to address social and emotional concerns.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing recommendations for students with special needs.
- Promoting a positive school climate and implementing programs to prevent and address bullying, violence, and other issues.
- Supporting crisis intervention and management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Texas State Certification/Licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and other professionals.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of students.
