About the Role:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated, full-time School Psychologist! The position is focused mainly on elementary schools and will be a contract role running through the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and to work in a collaborative and supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and counseling services to students in elementary schools.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and provide recommendations for services.
  • Offer crisis intervention, social-emotional support, and behavioral interventions as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans.
  • Consult with school staff on mental health issues and best practices for classroom management.
  • Maintain confidential student records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Provide professional development and support to teachers on mental health issues and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
  • Active and valid Texas licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in elementary schools (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Knowledge of special education law and IEP development.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude toward students and their families.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
