Are you a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist looking for an exciting opportunity to positively impact students' academic, social, and emotional well-being? We are currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. This position offers the chance to work onsite and collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and accommodations to support students' individual needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges
- Administer and interpret standardized tests and assessments to gather data and inform decision-making
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students, families, and staff when necessary
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create a positive and inclusive school environment
- Conduct research and stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of school psychology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Washington state certification or eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably with diverse grade levels
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and behavioral management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
