Job Title: School Psychologist
School psychologists provide a range of services to students, families, and schools. Some of the core services of a school psychologist include assessment, counseling, and consultation. They connect the student to services both in and out of the school. School psychologists tailor their services to the particular needs of each child/adolescent and each situation. They also provide education and prevention services.
Requirements:
- Must have Illinois School Psychologist Certification
- Master's degree in educational psychology or similar
Details:
- W2 Contract
- Full time and Part time positions available
- August 2023- May 2024
- This district has extreme focus on MTSS process and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports framework.
- Individualize instruction and interventions
- Manage student and classroom behavior
- Monitor student progress
- Collect and interpret student and classroom data
- Reduce inappropriate referrals to special education.
- Improve students communication and social skills
- Assess student emotional and behavioral needs.
- The director would like to provide more information during the interview.
