School Psychologist for the 2024/2025 School Year

Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20 Hours per Week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational and psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Administer autism evaluations to students suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Perform Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for pre-K students to assess developmental skills.
  • Interpret assessment results and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding students' learning and behavioral needs.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, evaluations, and intervention plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state.
  • Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments in a school setting, including autism evaluations.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and methods commonly used in school psychology practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
