Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an onsite position providing vital psychological services to students across all grade levels (K-12).
Position Type: Full-time
Number of Positions Available: 1
Caseload: K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students to evaluate academic, emotional, behavioral, and social needs.
- Provide counseling and support services to students in need.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
- Support students with mental health issues and other challenges affecting their learning.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and work closely with parents and guardians to develop strategies for student success.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of student services and progress.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active School Psychologist license in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure.
- Experience working with students in a K-12 setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, mental health support, and best practices in educational settings.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
