We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position is full-time and based within our school district in Brownsboro, Texas. We are currently conducting open interviews for this school-based role.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid School Psychologist license or certification in the state of Texas
  • Compliance with all local and state regulations for school psychology
  • Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans for students
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Assist in the identification and placement of students in special education programs
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support evidence-based practices and improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with community agencies and resources to support students and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and services provided
