Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: High Shoals, NC

Soliant is currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in High Shoals, NC. This position offers an opportunity to work onsite and make a positive impact on the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review assessment results, develop intervention strategies, and monitor student progress.
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
