Hiring: School Psychologist

Location: Asheville, NC, and surrounding areas

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Asheville, NC, and the surrounding areas. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure their success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support students' educational and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to address students' emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive school climate and student well-being.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid North Carolina state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred).
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
