One of Soliant's clients, located in rural Minnesota (about 40 miles from St. Cloud, MN) is interviewing School Psychologists and Interns for the upcoming school year.

- Contract
- Full-time (35-40 hours per week)
- Applicants will be assigned to one district, and report to the team leader
We seek motivated applicants with excellent clinical skills, and who are invested in attaining educational goals.
As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
- Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
- Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
- Meeting with other members of the psychologist teams on a bi-weekly basis for consultations and discussion of current research and best practices.
- Establishing efficient communications with directors, principals, teachers, parents, students, appropriate personnel, and community agencies to improve the quality of service.
- Determining student’s ability to learn and suggesting instructional strategies and techniques.
- Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.
Education and license information:
- For psychologist interns, eligibility to work for a year under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist while working towards the requirements for a Minnesota Board of Teaching license
- For School Psychologists, graduation from an accredited program approved by the National Association of School Psychologists, or national certification.
