Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. This position is available for the upcoming 23/24 school year and includes work during the summer. The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting testing and evaluations on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments of students
  • Administer and interpret various psychological tests
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, evaluations, and counseling sessions
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Pennsylvania state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • High level of professionalism and ethical conduct

Schedule:

This position requires a commitment of 3-5 days per week, including work during the summer and throughout the 23/24 school year.
