Job Description:

Are you a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist looking to make a difference in the lives of students? [District Name] is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in determining the eligibility of students for special education services, with a particular focus on Specific Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Behavior Developmental Inventories (BDIs).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' eligibility for special education services.
  • Administer and interpret assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding student behavior and academic performance.
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and make recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, evaluations, and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students from PreK to 12th grade.
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting assessments for Specific Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Behavior Developmental Inventories (BDIs).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
