Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Robertson County School District. This part-time position requires working onsite at various schools within the district. The School Psychologist will primarily support elementary students but may also work with students of other age groups. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about promoting students' well-being, supporting their academic success, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
  • Provide direct counseling and therapeutic services to students to address social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs
  • Facilitate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding behavior management strategies and interventions
  • Stay up to date with current research and best practices in school psychology

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active Tennessee license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students of various age groups, preferably with a focus on elementary students
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
