School Psychologist Needed

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team near Fairlee, Maryland. This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers flexibility and a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will support students across K-12 grade levels, providing essential psychological services to foster their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide individual and group counseling services.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create strategies that improve student outcomes.
• Monitor student progress and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Assist in the creation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Contribute to Student Support Teams (SSTs) and other multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• A valid Maryland School Psychologist license.
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Experience working in K-12 settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with conducting assessments, writing reports, and supporting IEP development.
