School Psychologist (Full-Time) - Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team for the 2023-2024 school year in Phoenix, Arizona. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and interventions for students with special needs
• Provide counseling services to students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
• Support teachers in creating inclusive classroom environments and implementing evidence-based instructional strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate interventions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in the field of school psychology
• Actively engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Arizona
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment techniques and interventions for students with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
