We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Job Description: As a Full-Time Psychologist, you will be an integral part of our educational community, working closely with students, parents, and staff to provide comprehensive psychological services. Your primary responsibility will be to support the mental health and well-being of our students, assisting them in navigating social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This position will require collaboration with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students
  • Develop and implement behavior management plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to address students' academic and behavioral concerns
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support as needed
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations and goals
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Stay updated with best practices in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Valid license as a Psychologist in the state of Arizona
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
