Hourly Rate: Up to $65/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Required Qualifications: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field, Valid New York State School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
About the Position:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to join a dedicated school team near Minoa, NY. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional, social, or academic challenges.
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Offer crisis intervention and consultative services as needed.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and consultation strategies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
Pay & Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $65/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
