A Soliant partner located 40 minutes from Reading, PA is interviewing applicants for a contract School Psychologist position for the next school year.
The position is full-time, working with K-12 students. We seek applicants who have worked with various age groups.
As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
- Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
- Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
- Consulting with teachers and other school personnel in relation to behavior management and learning problems.
- Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited graduate program in School Psychology
- Internships in school settings essential
- Completion of Pennsylvania Department of Education clearances
