School Psychologist, Reading PA

A Soliant partner located 40 minutes from Reading, PA is interviewing applicants for a contract School Psychologist position for the next school year. 

The position is full-time, working with K-12 students. We seek applicants who have worked with various age groups. 

As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
2. Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
3. Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
4. Consulting with teachers and other school personnel in relation to behavior management and learning problems.
5. Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
6. Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited graduate program in School Psychology
• Internships in school settings essential
• Completion of Pennsylvania Department of Education clearances
