Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Santa Fe, NM

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our team at a large elementary school in Santa Fe, NM. This position involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including evaluations and services as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The psychologist will be responsible for scheduling evaluations, consultations, and services for their assigned caseload of students. Additionally, they will be available to attend or provide written input for IEP team meetings as required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on psychological matters related to students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, services provided, and progress monitoring.

Certifications:

  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in California.
  • National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not required.

  • Onsite work at a large elementary school in Santa Fe, NM.
