School Psychologist - Virtual Position

Director is ready to interview virtually.

A school district located in New York is looking for several full-time virtual school psychologists. Responsibilities would include mainly testing, evaluations and IEP meetings. 2 years of school’s experience is preferred, but district is open to new graduates with great internship experience. Candidate must be licensed in New York as a school psychologist.
 
Job Description:

• Full-time - Must be able to work 50 hours a week
• Positions starting now and in the Summer 
• Virtual.
• Must be a NY licensed school Psychologist
• Caseload: K-12th grades
• Virtual interview process.

• Provisional certificate 
  • 60 graduate credits in psychology
  • 1- year school psychology internship (at least 600 hours in school setting)
• Permanent Certificate
  • Master's degree in psychology 
  • 2 years work experience in schools

Basic Job Duties

• Administering and evaluating psychological tests and preparing reports.
• No counseling involved in this role.
• Assisting students with the development of goals and action plans.
• Researching and implementing intervention programs.
• Assessing and diagnosing students to determine eligibility for special services.
• Participating in continuing professional development.
